For immediate release – M Squared Entertainment, a production entity based out of Stamford, CT, announced today that they have signed a deal with Beth Israel Medical Center, a subsidiary of Continuum Health Partners, to produce web content focusing on Breast Cancer. The web content will feature Dr. Susan K. Boolbol, chief of Breast Cancer Surgery, at Beth Israel. Tom Molen, CEO of M Squared had this to say about the upcoming web content, “We are very excited about this strategic partnership with The Continuum Health Partners and Dr. Boolbol specifically. The 5 episode arc will be an invaluable resource for patients and individuals who have been affected by this crippling epidemic.” In 2010 alone, approximately 200,000 women were diagnosed with some form of invasive Breast Cancer and another 50,000 with non invasive Breast Cancer. According to BreastCancer.org, “death rates have been decreasing since 1990. These decreases are thought to be the result of treatment advances, earlier detection through screening, and increased awareness.” “We hope to continue that trend with these series of webisodes.”, said Molen. The current arc will consist of episodes that will cover Discovering a Lump, Diagnosis: Cancer, Surgery, Post Surgical Treatment, and Genetics. Robert Moore, COO, of M Squared said, “We hope to have the first webisode, tentatively titled, “I just found a lump” up and streaming by the spring, with the additional episodes following shortly after the first one is posted.” M Squared Entertainment was founded in 2010 by Tom Molen and Robert Moore with a singular mission: to create quality original or adapted content for distribution across all mediums – Internet, television, and theatrical.
